What is the Bent Knee Hip Raises?

The bent knee hip raises are a great strength training exercise to target the lower abdominal muscles and the core. Suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners.

How to properly perform the Bent Knee Hip Raises

  1. Lie flat on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the ground, hip-width apart.
  2. Place your arms by your sides, palms facing down.
  3. Engage your glutes and core, and press through your heels to lift your hips off the ground, forming a straight line from your knees to your shoulders.
  4. Pause briefly at the top of the movement, then lower your hips back down to the starting position with control.
  5. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions, focusing on maintaining proper form and engaging your glutes and core throughout the exercise.
