What is the Single Arm Dumbbell Preacher Curls?

The Single Arm Dumbbell Preacher Curls are an isolation exercise focusing on the biceps. They are ideal for targeted workouts and allow you to work on each arm separately to balance strength. These curls help in improving the definition and strength of the biceps.

How to properly perform the Single Arm Dumbbell Preacher Curls

  1. Sit on a preacher curl bench with your feet flat on the floor.
  2. Hold a dumbbell in one hand with an underhand grip, resting your upper arm against the pad of the bench.
  3. Keeping your upper arm stationary, exhale and curl the dumbbell up towards your shoulder.
  4. Pause for a moment at the top of the movement, squeezing your biceps.
  5. Inhale and slowly lower the dumbbell back down to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions on one side, then switch to the other side.
