What is the Lying Crossover?

The lying crossover is a stretching and mobility exercise that primarily works the muscles of the spine and hips. Ideal for improving flexibility and relieving lower back tension. This exercise is suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced.

How to properly perform the Lying Crossover

  1. Lie on your back with your arms extended to the sides, forming a 'T' with your body.
  2. Lift your right leg up to about 90 degrees.
  3. Keeping your right leg straight, slowly bring it across your body to the left side. Try to touch the floor with your right foot, but don't force it.
  4. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat the exercise for the recommended number of repetitions.
  5. Switch legs and repeat the movement with the left leg.
