What is the Reverse Grip Cable Curls?

The reverse grip cable curls are a fantastic muscle-building exercise that primarily targets the biceps and also works the forearms. Suitable for all levels, this exercise helps you improve the strength and muscular definition of your arms, while preventing injuries through a controlled and smooth movement.

How to properly perform the Reverse Grip Cable Curls

  1. Stand facing a cable machine with a straight bar attachment.
  2. Grasp the bar with an underhand grip (palms facing up), hands shoulder-width apart.
  3. Keep your elbows close to your sides and your upper arms stationary.
  4. Exhale and curl the bar towards your shoulders, contracting your biceps.
  5. Pause for a moment at the top of the movement, then slowly lower the bar back to the starting position while inhaling.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
