What is the Banded Front Raises?

The banded front raises are an effective exercise to target the shoulders and enhance upper body strength. Suitable for all levels, this exercise uses band resistance to increase intensity.

How to properly perform the Banded Front Raises

  1. Stand on the center of a resistance band with feet at shoulder-width apart. Hold the ends of the band in each hand, arms fully extended, and palms facing your body.
  2. Maintain a slight bend in your elbows and keep your back straight. This will be your starting position.
  3. With your hands in front of your thighs, raise your arms straight in front of you and upwards until they're parallel to the floor.
  4. Pause at the top of the movement, then lower your arms back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
