What is the Banded Upright Rows?
The banded upright rows are an effective exercise to target the shoulder and upper back muscles. Suitable for beginners, this exercise requires only a resistance band, making it convenient for home or outdoor workouts. It helps in building shoulder strength and stability while improving posture.
How to properly perform the Banded Upright Rows
- Stand on a resistance band with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Hold the band with an overhand grip, hands shoulder-width apart.
- Keep your back straight and core engaged.
- Pull the band upwards towards your chin, leading with your elbows and squeezing your shoulder blades together.
- Pause at the top of the movement, then slowly lower the band back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
