How to properly perform the Barbell Floor Press

  1. Lie down on the floor with your knees bent and your feet flat on the ground.
  2. Hold a barbell with an overhand grip, hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
  3. Press the barbell upward until your arms are fully extended, keeping your elbows close to your body.
  4. Lower the barbell back down to touch your chest, maintaining control and stability.
  5. Push through your palms to press the barbell back up to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
