What is the Cable Internal Rotation?

The cable internal rotations are an excellent isolation exercise for strengthening and stabilizing the rotator cuff muscles. Perfect for improving shoulder health and preventing injuries, this exercise can be incorporated into rehab routines or advanced bodybuilding programs.

How to properly perform the Cable Internal Rotation

  1. Attach a handle to a cable machine at waist height.
  2. Stand sideways to the cable machine with your arm farthest from the machine.
  3. Hold the handle with your hand and position your elbow at a 90-degree angle.
  4. Keeping your upper arm stationary, rotate your forearm inward, bringing your hand towards the midline of your body.
