What is the Cable Reverse Crunch?

The Cable Reverse Crunch is an isolation exercise that effectively targets the abdominal muscles. This exercise is excellent for developing core strength and strengthening the lower abs. It's often used by practitioners at all levels, from beginner to expert, to incorporate specific abdominal work into their routine.

How to properly perform the Cable Reverse Crunch

  1. Attach an ankle strap to a low cable pulley.
  2. Lie down facing up and hook your feet into the ankle strap.
  3. Place your hands on the sides for support.
  4. Contract your abs and curl your knees towards your chest, lifting your hips off the ground.
  5. Pause at the top of the movement, then slowly lower your legs back to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
