What is the Bottoms Up?

The Bottoms Up is a core exercise that primarily targets the abdominal muscles. This exercise helps strengthen the core and improve trunk stability. It's suitable for all fitness levels, with intensity adaptable based on individual capabilities.

How to properly perform the Bottoms Up

  1. Start by lying on your back on a mat or the floor with your legs extended straight up in the air, forming a 90-degree angle with your body.
  2. Place your hands on the sides of your head, elbows pointing out to the sides.
  3. Engage your core muscles and lift your hips off the ground, bringing your legs towards your chest.
  4. Pause briefly at the top of the movement, then lower your hips back down to the starting position in a controlled manner.
  5. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
