What is the Cable Low Fly?

The cable low fly is an excellent isolation exercise aimed at targeting and strengthening the chest muscles. Easy to incorporate into both beginner and advanced workout routines, this exercise allows for a maximum muscle contraction thanks to the continuous tension provided by the cables.

How to properly perform the Cable Low Fly

  1. Attach D-handles to the low pulleys of a cable machine.
  2. Stand in the center with your feet shoulder-width apart and your knees slightly bent.
  3. Grasp the handles with an underhand grip, palms facing up.
  4. Keep your core engaged and maintain a slight forward lean.
  5. Bring your arms forward and slightly downward, keeping a slight bend in your elbows.
  6. Keep your shoulders down and squeeze your chest muscles as you return your arms to the starting position.
  7. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
