How to properly perform the Close-Grip Standing Barbell Curl
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a barbell with an underhand grip, hands shoulder-width apart.
- Keep your elbows close to your sides and curl the barbell up towards your shoulders, contracting your biceps.
- Pause at the top of the movement and then slowly lower the barbell back down to the starting position.
- Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
