The decline narrow grip EZ bar pullover is an excellent exercise for targeting the chest and shoulder muscles. Using a narrow grip on the EZ bar, this exercise offers better isolation and stretch for the pectorals. Suitable for all levels, it helps improve upper body strength and is often used at the end of a workout for optimal conditioning.
How to properly perform the Decline Narrow Grip EZ Bar Pullovers
- Set up a decline bench at an angle of approximately 30-45 degrees.
- Lie back on the bench and grip the EZ bar with a narrow grip, hands shoulder-width apart and palms facing up.
- Extend your arms straight above your chest, keeping a slight bend in your elbows.
- Lower the bar in a controlled manner towards the top of your head, maintaining tension in your chest and shoulders.
- Keep your core engaged and maintain a stable position on the bench.
- Once you feel a stretch in your chest and shoulders, reverse the movement and bring the bar back to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
