What is the Cable Reverse Preacher Curl?

The cable reverse preacher curl is an isolation exercise that primarily targets the biceps while engaging the forearms. Suitable for athletes of all levels, this exercise helps enhance and define the upper arms.

How to properly perform the Cable Reverse Preacher Curl

  1. Set the cable pulley to a low position and attach a straight bar or EZ curl bar.
  2. Stand facing the cable machine and grasp the bar with an underhand grip.
  3. Position your upper arms on the preacher bench, ensuring your elbows are slightly bent.
  4. Pull the bar towards your face while keeping your elbows stationary.
  5. Contract your biceps at the top of the movement.
  6. Slowly lower the bar back to the starting position.
  7. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
