What is the Damian Maddox?

The banded front raises effectively target the anterior part of the shoulder muscles. This easy-to-master exercise also slightly engages the chest muscles.

How to properly perform the Damian Maddox

  1. Stand on the center of a resistance band with feet shoulder-width apart. Hold the ends of the band in each hand, arms extended, and palms facing your body.
  2. Maintain a slight bend in your elbows and keep your back straight. This is your starting position.
  3. With your hands in front of your thighs, lift your arms upwards until they are parallel to the floor.
  4. Pause at the top, then lower your arms back to the start.
  5. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
