What is the Leverage Decline Chest Press?

The leverage decline chest press primarily targets the lower pectoral muscles. With the support of the machine, it provides stability and safety, ideal for those looking to isolate the pectoral muscles without engaging stabilizers.

How to properly perform the Leverage Decline Chest Press

  1. Adjust the bench to a decline position and set up the leverage machine with the desired weight.
  2. Position yourself on the bench with your feet securely placed on the footrests.
  3. Grasp the handles with a firm grip and lower them to chest level.
  4. Press the handles upward, extending your arms fully while exhaling.
  5. Pause briefly at the top of the movement and then slowly lower the handles back to the starting position while inhaling.
  6. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
