What is the TRX Single Leg Squats?

The TRX Single Leg Squats are an advanced exercise focusing on the strength, balance, and stability of the leg muscles. Utilizing the TRX system, it effectively targets the posterior chain while enhancing core stability. This exercise is excellent for improving coordination and preventing muscle imbalances.

How to properly perform the TRX Single Leg Squats

  1. Adjust the TRX straps to an appropriate height and hold onto the handles with your arms extended.
  2. Stand facing away from the anchor point, placing one foot in front of you and extending the other leg straight out in front of you.
  3. Lower your body into a squat position, bending your standing leg while keeping your chest up and core engaged.
  4. Push through your heel to return to the starting position, maintaining control and balance throughout the movement.
  5. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions, then switch legs and repeat on the other side.
