What is the Standing Dumbbell Inner Bicep Curls?

The standing dumbbell inner bicep curls are an excellent isolation exercise for targeting the inner part of the biceps. This exercise is suitable for both beginners and advanced athletes, ensuring effective engagement of the inner biceps with a focus on maximal contraction on each repetition.

How to properly perform the Standing Dumbbell Inner Bicep Curls

  1. Stand up straight with a dumbbell in each hand, palms facing your torso.
  2. Keep your upper arms stationary, exhale, and curl the dumbbells while contracting your biceps. Focus on keeping the movement isolated to your inner biceps.
  3. Continue to curl the dumbbells until your biceps are fully contracted and the dumbbells are at shoulder level. Squeeze your biceps at the top of the movement.
  4. Inhale and slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position, maintaining control throughout the motion.
  5. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
