What is the TRX Squat Jumps?

The TRX squat jumps are a plyometric exercise targeting the leg muscles and enhancing overall stability and strength. Ideal for athletes aiming to increase their explosive power, this exercise also engages the core stabilizing muscles, making every repetition beneficial for planking and balance.

How to properly perform the TRX Squat Jumps

  1. Adjust the TRX straps to an appropriate length and hold the handles with an overhand grip.
  2. Stand facing the anchor point, keeping your feet shoulder-width apart.
  3. Lower into a squat position by bending your knees and pushing your hips back, keeping your chest up and your back straight.
  4. Engage your core and explosively jump upwards, extending your hips, knees, and ankles.
  5. Land softly back into the squat position and immediately repeat the movement for the recommended number of repetitions.
  6. Use the TRX straps for stability and assistance as needed.
