What is the Weighted Seated Reverse Wrist Curl?
The weighted seated reverse wrist curl effectively targets and strengthens the forearm muscles. Regularly performing this wrist curl variation aids in enhancing forearm muscle endurance and definition while helping to reduce the imbalance between the wrist flexors and extensors.
How to properly perform the Weighted Seated Reverse Wrist Curl
- Sit on a bench with your forearms resting on your thighs, holding a dumbbell in each hand with an overhand grip.
- Allow your wrists to extend downwards, letting the dumbbells roll towards the floor.
- Flex your wrists to lift the dumbbells back up, squeezing your forearms at the top of the movement.
- Lower the dumbbells back down in a controlled manner.
- Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
