What is the Bent Knee Hip Raises?
The bent knee hip raises are a great strength training exercise to target the lower abdominal muscles and the core. Suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners.
How to properly perform the Bent Knee Hip Raises
- Lie flat on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the ground, hip-width apart.
- Place your arms by your sides, palms facing down.
- Engage your glutes and core, and press through your heels to lift your hips off the ground, forming a straight line from your knees to your shoulders.
- Pause briefly at the top of the movement, then lower your hips back down to the starting position with control.
- Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions, focusing on maintaining proper form and engaging your glutes and core throughout the exercise.
