What is the Leverage Incline Chest Press?

The leverage incline chest press is a fundamental exercise designed to primarily target the chest muscles, particularly the upper or clavicular portion. Ideal for both beginners and seasoned athletes, it offers a safe, guided motion that helps build strength and muscle mass.

How to properly perform the Leverage Incline Chest Press

  1. Adjust the seat and backrest of the leverage incline chest press machine to a comfortable position.
  2. Sit on the machine with your back against the backrest and your feet flat on the floor.
  3. Grasp the handles with an overhand grip, palms facing forward.
  4. Push the handles forward and extend your arms fully, while keeping your elbows slightly bent.
  5. Slowly lower the handles back to the starting position, allowing your elbows to bend and your chest muscles to stretch.
  6. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
