What is the TRX Bulgarian Squats?

The TRX Bulgarian Squats are an advanced exercise primarily targeting the quadriceps, hamstrings, and glutes. This exercise also enhances balance and stability while providing intense muscle activation. It's perfect for intermediate to advanced level practitioners.

How to properly perform the TRX Bulgarian Squats

  1. Stand facing the TRX and hold the handles firmly.
  2. Place one foot forward, with the top of the foot resting on a bench or elevated platform behind you.
  3. Bend the knee of the front leg and descend into a squat position, keeping the weight on the heel of the front leg.
  4. Lower until the thigh of the front leg is parallel to the ground, then push through the heel to return to the starting position.
