What is the Single Leg Dip on Floor?

The single leg dip on floor is an effective exercise to strengthen the triceps and enhance unilateral balance. Perfect for building upper body strength while increasing stability with single leg squat movements.

How to properly perform the Single Leg Dip on Floor

  1. Sit on the floor with your legs extended in front and your hands placed next to your hips, palms down.
  2. Bend one leg and keep the other leg extended straight.
  3. Raise your body by pushing through your arms, keeping the foot of the extended leg elevated.
  4. Slowly lower your body by bending your elbows until your glutes are close to the ground without touching it.
  5. Push back up to return to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions, then switch legs.
