What is the Landmine 180?

The Landmine 180 is a dynamic exercise that primarily targets the core and enhances rotational strength. This exercise is perfect for strengthening the stabilizing muscles, essential for athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike.

How to properly perform the Landmine 180

  1. Start by positioning a bar into a landmine or in a corner to keep it from moving.
  2. Load an appropriate weight onto your end.
  3. Stand over the bar, and position a Double D row handle around the bar next to the collar.
  4. Using your hips and legs, rise to a standing position.
  5. Adopt a wide stance with your hips back and your chest up. Your arms should be extended.
  6. This will be your starting position.
  7. Perform the exercise by rotating the hips and arms as you pivot your back foot and bend the lead knee.
  8. The motion should be similar to swinging a bat.
  9. Reverse the motion to return to the starting position, and then repeat to the opposite side.

Caution: This exercise should be performed with an appropriate weight to avoid injury.
