What is the Single Arm Leverage Iso Row?

The Single Arm Leverage Iso Row is a strength-training exercise that primarily targets the muscles of the back, particularly the latissimus dorsi. This exercise helps correct muscle imbalances as each side works independently, and it is also beneficial for improving spinal stability.

How to properly perform the Single Arm Leverage Iso Row

  1. Set up a leverage row machine with the appropriate weight.
  2. Stand facing the machine and position yourself so that your working arm is extended and gripping the handle.
  3. Keep your knees slightly bent, your back straight, and engage your core.
  4. Pull the handle towards your body while keeping your elbow close to your side, squeezing your shoulder blades together.
  5. Hold the position for a few seconds and then slowly return to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions and then switch to the other arm.
