What is the TRX Chest Flyes?

The TRX chest flyes are an effective way to isolate and work the chest muscles using body weight. This exercise requires good stabilization and also engages the stabilizer muscles of the shoulders.

How to properly perform the TRX Chest Flyes

  1. Adjust the TRX straps to a height where your arms are extended at shoulder height.
  2. Position yourself facing away from the anchor point, holding the TRX handles with an overhand grip.
  3. Step forward to create tension in the straps and position yourself at a slight angle.
  4. Extend your arms forward, shoulder-width apart, at chest level.
  5. While maintaining a slight bend in the elbows, open your arms to the sides in a controlled manner, feeling the stretch in the chest muscles.
  6. Bring your arms back to the starting position by contracting the chest muscles.
  7. Repeat the exercise for the recommended number of repetitions.
