What is the TRX Y Rows?

The TRX Y Rows is a strength training exercise that effectively targets the back and shoulder muscles. This exercise can be performed by athletes of all levels by adjusting the body's incline. It helps to strengthen stabilizing muscles and improve posture.

How to properly perform the TRX Y Rows

  1. Adjust the TRX straps to a length that allows you to hold onto the handles while standing upright.
  2. Stand facing the TRX suspension trainer with your feet hip-width apart.
  3. Lean back slightly, keeping your body in a straight line from head to heels.
  4. Extend your arms forward, forming a 'Y' shape with your body.
  5. Squeeze your shoulder blades together and pull your chest up towards the handles, while keeping your elbows straight.
  6. Pause briefly at the top of the movement and then slowly lower yourself back to the starting position.
  7. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
