What is the V-Sit Twist (Medicine Ball)?

The V-Sit Twist with a Medicine Ball is an effective ab exercise that targets the obliques and transverse abdominis. Ideal for those looking to strengthen their core, this exercise also benefits balance and trunk stability due to its dynamic nature.

How to properly perform the V-Sit Twist (Medicine Ball)

  1. Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet lifted off the ground, forming a V shape with your torso and thighs.
  2. Hold a medicine ball with both hands close to your chest.
  3. Engage your core muscles and lean back slightly to balance on your sit bones.
  4. Twist your torso to one side while keeping your feet off the ground, bringing the medicine ball towards the side of your body.
  5. Return to the starting position, then twist to the opposite side.
