What is the Band Wrist Curl?

The band wrist curl is an isolation exercise primarily targeting the forearm flexor muscles. Especially useful for enhancing grip strength, it can be performed anywhere with a resistance band. This exercise is excellent for beginners or as an addition to a more advanced routine.

How to properly perform the Band Wrist Curl

  1. Secure a resistance band under your feet, holding the ends with your hands.
  2. Stand upright with your arms extended in front of you, palms facing up.
  3. Flex your wrists to curl the band towards your body, keeping your elbows stationary.
  4. Hold the contraction for a moment at the top.
