How to properly perform the Barbell Jefferson Squat
- Place the barbell between your legs, perpendicular to your body.
- Position your feet wider than shoulder-width apart, with one foot in front of the other.
- Hold the barbell firmly with a mixed grip, one hand in front of your body and the other hand behind.
- Simultaneously bend both knees, lowering your body towards the floor while keeping your back straight and your chest up.
- Return to the starting position by pushing through your heels and extending your legs.
- Repeat the movement for the recommended number of repetitions, then switch the position of your feet for the other side.
