What is the Decline Oblique Crunches?

The decline oblique crunches are an abdominal strengthening exercise particularly targeting the oblique muscles. This exercise is ideal for individuals aiming to enhance their waist definition and strength. Perfect for intermediate and advanced levels, it allows the abdominals to work at different angles thanks to the bench's decline.

How to properly perform the Decline Oblique Crunches

  1. Position yourself on a decline bench with your feet secured.
  2. Place your hands lightly behind your head, elbows pointing out to the sides.
  3. Contract your oblique muscles and lift your upper body, twisting your torso to bring your elbow towards the opposite knee.
  4. Lower your upper body back down to the starting position.
  5. Repeat on the other side, bringing your other elbow towards the opposite knee.
  6. Alternate sides and repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
