What is the Tate Press?

The Tate Press is an isolation exercise primarily targeting the triceps. Often underrated, this exercise is crucial for building arm strength and is included in many advanced bodybuilding routines. It's ideal for those looking to maximize triceps growth and add variety to their regimen.

How to properly perform the Tate Press

  1. Lie on a flat bench holding a pair of dumbbells directly above your chest with your palms facing each other.
  2. Lower the dumbbells towards your chest while keeping your elbows tucked in close to your body.
  3. Once the dumbbells reach the bottom position, press them back up to the starting position while maintaining control and stability.
