What is the High Cable Flyes?

The high cable flyes are an isolation exercise that primarily targets the pectoralis muscles. They are particularly effective for working the upper part of the chest and achieving maximum muscle pump. This exercise is recommended for bodybuilding enthusiasts looking to shape and strengthen their chest muscles.

How to properly perform the High Cable Flyes

  1. Adjust the cable pulleys to the highest position.
  2. Stand facing away from the cables with one foot forward and the other foot slightly back for stability.
  3. Grasp the handles with an overhand grip and bring your arms out to the sides, parallel to the ground.
  4. Keep a slight bend in your elbows and maintain control as you bring your arms forward, crossing them in front of your chest.
  5. Pause for a moment at the point of maximum contraction, then slowly return to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
