What is the Lying Side Leg Raises?

The lying side leg raises are an excellent exercise to tone the inner and outer thigh muscles as well as the core. It's beginner-friendly and enhances hip balance and stability.

How to properly perform the Lying Side Leg Raises

  1. Lie on your side on a mat or the floor, supporting your head with your bottom arm and keeping your legs straight.
  2. Place your top hand on the floor in front of you for stability.
  3. Engage your core and lift your top leg upward as high as comfortable, keeping it straight.
  4. Pause briefly at the top of the movement, then lower your leg back down in a controlled manner.
  5. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions, then switch sides and repeat.
