What is the Seated Cable Flyes?

The seated cable flyes are a specific strength training exercise that effectively targets the pectoral muscles. It helps achieve a good pump in the upper body and is ideal for strengthening and toning the chest. This variation of the seated cable exercise is also beneficial for the shoulders and back as it stabilizes the movement.

How to properly perform the Seated Cable Flyes

  1. Sit on a bench facing a cable machine with a cable crossover attachment at chest height.
  2. Grasp the handles with a neutral grip, palms facing each other.
  3. Keep your back straight and chest up as you pull the handles outward and bring your hands together in front of your chest.
  4. Pause for a moment, then slowly release the handles back to the starting position, maintaining control.
  5. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
