The straight arm pulldowns rope - pullover is an excellent isolation exercise mainly targeting the lats and shoulders. Ideal for developing upper body strength and definition, it's particularly effective at the end of a workout to maximize muscle contraction and stretch.

How to properly perform the Straight Arm Pulldowns Rope - Pullover

  1. Attach a rope attachment to a high cable pulley and adjust the weight stack accordingly.
  2. Stand facing the cable machine with your feet shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent.
  3. Grasp the rope with a pronated grip (palms facing down) and fully extend your arms in front of you.
  4. Keeping your arms straight, engage your lats and shoulder muscles to pull the rope down and slightly back in a sweeping motion.
  5. Pause briefly at the bottom of the movement, then slowly return to the starting position, maintaining control.
  6. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
