What is the V Sit Rotation?

The V Sit Rotations or Russian Twists are a fundamental core exercise targeting the abdominal muscles, especially the obliques. This movement intensively engages the core and enhances body stability. It is perfect for incorporating into an effective abs workout routine.

How to properly perform the V Sit Rotation

  1. Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground.
  2. Lean back slightly and lift your feet off the ground, balancing on your sitting bones to form a V shape with your body.
  3. Extend your arms straight out in front of you, palms together.
  4. Rotate your torso to one side, bringing your hands towards the ground on that side.
  5. Return to the center and repeat the rotation to the other side.
  6. Continue alternating sides for the recommended number of repetitions.
