What is the Cable Preacher Curls?

The cable preacher curls are an excellent isolation exercise targeting the biceps. By limiting the involvement of secondary muscles, this exercise allows for maximum activation of the target muscle. It's an ideal choice for developing the size and shape of the biceps while minimizing the risk of weight swinging.

How to properly perform the Cable Preacher Curls

  1. Adjust the preacher curl station so that the seat and armrest are positioned correctly for your height.
  2. Grasp the cable attachment with an underhand grip, placing your upper arms against the armrest and your chest against the pad.
  3. Keeping your upper arms stationary, exhale and curl the cable attachment upward while contracting your biceps.
  4. Pause briefly at the top of the movement and squeeze your biceps.
  5. Inhale and slowly lower the cable attachment back to the starting position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
