What is the Dumbbell Side Lunges?

How to properly perform the Dumbbell Side Lunges

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a dumbbell in each hand.
  2. Take a wide step to the side with your right leg, keeping your left leg straight.
  3. Lower your body by bending your right knee and pushing your hips back.
  4. Keep your chest up and your back straight.
  5. Push through your right heel and return to the starting position.
  6. Repeat on the other side by stepping out with your left leg.
  7. Continue alternating sides for the recommended number of repetitions.
