What is the Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Press?

The seated dumbbell shoulder press is a fundamental exercise for developing the shoulders, particularly the anterior and middle deltoids. It allows for unilateral work, promoting muscle balance and symmetry. Suitable for all levels, it can be integrated into any routine to increase shoulder mass and strength.

How to properly perform the Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Press

  1. Sit on a bench with a backrest and hold a dumbbell in each hand at shoulder level, palms facing forward.
  2. Engage your core and keep your back straight.
  3. Press the dumbbells upward, extending your arms fully overhead.
