What is the Seated Kettlebell Shoulder Press?
The seated kettlebell shoulder press is a fundamental exercise to strengthen the upper part of your body, particularly the shoulder muscles. This exercise can be included in your routine both as a primary strength movement or as an assistance variation. Ideal for all levels, it also helps improve stability and coordination.
How to properly perform the Seated Kettlebell Shoulder Press
- Sit on a bench or chair with your back straight and your feet flat on the ground.
- Hold a kettlebell in each hand at shoulder level, palms facing forward.
- Press the kettlebells overhead, fully extending your arms without locking out your elbows.
- Lower the kettlebells back down to shoulder level and repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
