What is the Seated Kettlebell Shoulder Press?

The seated kettlebell shoulder press is a fundamental exercise to strengthen the upper part of your body, particularly the shoulder muscles. This exercise can be included in your routine both as a primary strength movement or as an assistance variation. Ideal for all levels, it also helps improve stability and coordination.

How to properly perform the Seated Kettlebell Shoulder Press

  1. Sit on a bench or chair with your back straight and your feet flat on the ground.
  2. Hold a kettlebell in each hand at shoulder level, palms facing forward.
  3. Press the kettlebells overhead, fully extending your arms without locking out your elbows.
  4. Lower the kettlebells back down to shoulder level and repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
