What is the Bodyweight Pulse Squat?
The bodyweight pulse squat is a dynamic variation of the traditional squat, incorporating small pulses at the bottom of the movement to deeply engage the quadriceps and glute muscles. This bodyweight exercise is perfect for boosting muscle density and leg endurance.
How to properly perform the Bodyweight Pulse Squat
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Lower your body into a squat position, keeping your chest up and knees aligned with your toes. Once at the bottom, perform small pulses by maintaining the squat position while contracting the thigh and glute muscles.
- Ensure that your weight remains on your heels.
- After several pulses, slowly rise back to the starting position.
