What is the Warming up in Lunge (one)?
The static hip opening with raised arms is an excellent dynamic warm-up exercise designed to prepare the thigh and hip muscles. This exercise improves mobility and helps prevent injuries during more intense workouts.
How to properly perform the Warming up in Lunge (one)
- Start in a standing position with your feet together.
- Step forward with one leg, lowering your hips until both knees are bent at about a 90-degree angle.
- Make sure your front knee is directly above your ankle and your back knee is hovering just above the ground.
- Push through your front heel to return to the starting position.
- Repeat on the other side.
