Frequent questions

What we're asked the most.

Can my client pay the invoice online?
Not yet, and we'd rather say so plainly. Invoicing produces the document, sends it and tracks its status, but there's no card payment or direct debit in the app. Your client pays you as agreed (transfer, cash, cheque), and you mark the invoice paid.
What if I'm not VAT registered?
You leave it off and it appears nowhere on the invoice. If you are, switch the option on and set the rate line by line, which lets you mix different rates on one document.
What does the PDF look like?
A document in your name, with your logo, your details and your client's, the invoice number, the itemised lines, any discount, VAT, the total and the due date. If you saved a bank account, the IBAN appears for the transfer.
Is the invoice emailed?
Your client gets a notification saying an invoice is available, by email, in their inbox or as a push depending on their settings. The PDF isn't attached to the message: they view and download it from their space.
Do invoices turn overdue by themselves?
No. The status is yours: you flip an invoice to overdue when you judge it is. There's no automatic detection of a missed due date and no reminder sent to the client on your behalf.
Can I automate a monthly invoice?
Not today. Each invoice is issued by hand, even for recurring monthly coaching. The service catalogue cuts the typing, but you have to create the document each month.
What does my client see?
The list of their invoices in their app, with each status, and the PDF to download. They need nothing beyond the app they already use for their sessions.
Is invoicing limited to a paid plan?
No. It's open to every coach, whatever their plan, with no limit on the number of invoices.
